Pokemon Scarlet - 7 Star Inteleon Raid

The newest raid has arrived, and this one does not really have anything too nasty compared to the others. There is a RNG element to it if you don't want to protect against the Blizzard freeze chance. I don't know if creating sun will allow you to thaw as I never learned how some of the rules have changed over the generations.

Since Inteleon will immediately use Mist, he cannot be debuffed. To answer this, I swap Screech for Thunder Wave and opt to paralyze him instead. Once we have speed control, things become a lot safer for Blue, and he gets to exploit that for a round or two. While the shield and Mist are in play, I am unable to much (and accumulate Tearful Looks), but once Mist expires, I quickly Snarl away all of his strength. The second Mist goes up too late, and then I am ready to join Blue and make a meager contribution to the offense as I am at special attack -5.

Blue is using Iron Hands and in both games, he gets frozen by Inteleon. He uses Belly Drum on the first round and hits Intelon as hard as he can on the second round before the shield goes up. If not for the paralysis I inflict, he can get KOed during the second round, but instead he will heal to full. After getting frozen, he does get KOed, returns and rushes for Tera. By the time his Tera is ready, Mist has expired and I can cut into Inteleon's power while he bashes down the shield. Once the shield is down, it is only a couple rounds left before Iron Hands finishes him.

Overall, this one is a lot simpler than ones we've seen in the past. The frozen status does leave a few things for luck, but we did get it each game. You can hear at the end that Blue was not impressed by Intelon at all, so we will need to see what they come up with for the next one. Odds are looking that it will be Rillaboom to give us a grass type and wrap up the gen 8 starters.
