n the deep woods of Bear Brook State Park, something sinister was waiting to be discovered. In 1985 and 2000, four female murder victims were found partially or completely skeletonized. Their deaths were estimated to have occurred between 1977 and 1981. The case went cold until 2017 when Terry Peder Rasmussen emerged as the most likely suspect. DNA confirmed that he was the father of one of the Bear Brook victims and also responsible for the disappearance of his girlfriend, Denise Beaudin. Rasmussen was convicted of his wife's murder in 2002 and passed away in prison in 2010. In 2019, the identities of the three related female victims were revealed as Marlyse Elizabeth Honeychurch and her two daughters. The middle child, believed to be Rasmussen's daughter, remains unidentified. The murders may have taken place between 1978 and 1981. The true identities of the victims and their killer remain a mystery, waiting to be uncovered.
