A University of Lethbridge student has started the Lethbridge Powersoccer Program. It helps those with physical disabilities become more involved in the culture and recreation of soccer and sports. The program currently has 10 members in the group with more interested. The Alberta Cerebral Palsy Sports Association has also given funding to cover the cost of gym rental and bumpers for the powerchairs. BCN’s Micah Quinn chatted with Chase Petruska about his research at the U of L and the touching reason why he wanted to start the program.
