On May 2nd 2014, Ukrainian nationalists attacked & burned alive dozens of ethnic Russians who were petitioning for language rights & federalism, a system of government that functions in both Canada & the USA.
This after the CIA orchestrated coup in Ukraine overthrew the democratically elected government of Victor Yanukovych. The first law the new radical, nationalist government passed was banning the Russian language.
The documentary "Ukraine on Fire" banned on youtube but available on Rumble goes over this event as well.
