Many Western pundits are airing that Jamaicans are not happy with the presence of Chinese developers and investments in Jamaica. even after the fact that these Chinese infrastructural and service developments in Jamaica are providing substantial amount of employment to many Jamaican citizens. It leaves one to wonder if Jamaicans prefer to have little, or nothing at all.

America, UK, Canada, and the EU have only sucked-up Jamaican natural resources for nearly a century without building credible developmental infrastructures and services for the people of Jamaica, but now that China is making an effort to do just that, they are complaining.
