New Plymouth District Councillor Anneka Carlson is standing up for freedom. She was sharply criticised after posting a 13-minute video to her personal Facebook page covering topics including vaccine efficacy and human rights and since then has attended the parliament protest in Wellington.

In this interview Tane asks about her experience at Freedom Village, how her community have been affected by the mandates, what is concerning her about what's going through local councils now and how we should be holding councillors to account for their stance.
