The Government just reached into pockets for those participating in the Housing Market once again. This time around they are going to take money from Home Buyers with good credit and decent down payments and utilize those funds to subsidize the loan programs for lower credit Buyers. All of this is under the banner of making homes affordable to everyone. Good Credit people are being punished for working hard and managing their income and expenses whereas others are being rewarded. Has the Government learned nothing from the previous Housing Crisis? Recent statistics regarding FHA Buyers (lower credit qualification) has shown us that this segment has a much higher percentage and chance of falling into default with their mortgage payments and then moving into the Foreclosure process. What is the end game here?
