What is the best way for streamers to release shows?

We are in an environment where people will hop between streaming services because the only require a monthly commitment. People do this based on the shows they are watching. Streamers are trying to hold on to subscribers, so they are studying the best way to release episodes of shows.
The Netflix binge release model unleashes all the episodes on one day. If we look at this first visual, it shows that Netflix releases 91% of its original seasons on a single day. Disney does this less than half the time. HBO Max does it 37% of the time. It is argued that the success of Squid Games was in part to the ability to binge it.
If a show is released all at once, the completion rate is 47% versus 41% if it is released weekly. If you release the episodes all at once, more people will finish a season.
However, if you release shows weekly, the change in viewership is higher. Viewership change measures how many households watch an episode in an 103 day window from premiere. If we look at Tulsa King, four times as many people watched it during the 103 day window as the first 50 days. That shows the audience grew significantly. Why do you think weekly shows get more viewership? Why does viewership of the binge model sizzle out so quickly?
