Winged Pharaoh was Joan Marshal Grants first far memory book,published in 1937 it had raving review 'written with such clarity, detail and living presence that it is quite reasonable to believe that it was 'a far memory' - not a figment of imagination but a recollection - a rare treat. Joan was born 1907 and passed in 1989. and throughout her life she was preoccupied with the subject of ethics, to her it represented the fundamental and timeless code of attitudes and behaviour towards one another on which the health and of the individual and society depends. Denys Kelsey, her last husband wrote "The first Dynasty of Egypt once knew the code well, but lost it and foundered. 11 Dynasties were to pass before it was recovered, but those were more leisurely times where arrows, javlins and a club were the most lethal weapons. This story plays before the time of Babylon and the great flood.
