Francisco Oropesa, a Mexican national accused of killing five of his Texas neighbors after they complained about him firing a rifle on his property, is currently on the run. Oropesa had been deported from the country five times prior to the incident, and was in the country illegally at the time of the shooting. He had also reentered the country illegally multiple times following his deportations. The FBI has released several new photos of Oropesa, who is still at large. The Texas governor’s office, state agencies, and the FBI are offering an $80,000 reward for information leading to his capture. Meanwhile, authorities are expanding their search perimeter, and tracking dogs from the Texas Department of Correction have been called in. The victims have been identified, and Wilson Garcia, who lost his wife and son in the shooting, recounted how he and his family had asked Oropesa to stop shooting his AR-15 because it was late and their baby couldn't sleep, but Oropesa entered their home and started shooting before they could call the police.
