Body discovered in Lake Avalon at Sugden Regional Park

The Collier County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) is investigating a body found in Lake Avalon on Monday morning. CCSO got a call around 7:12 a.m. on Monday about a body in the water off Avalon Drive in Sugden Regional Park. Investigators say the death does not appear to be suspicious. The cause and manner of death will be determined pending the completion of an autopsy. No other details are being released at this time.
