Peoria Unified School District Mothers Address Bathroom Policy Issue

The issue of transgendered females using the facilities as biological girls bathroom has been a hot button issue in the District’s Liberty and Sunrise Mountain high schools and across the country.

The Peoria Unified School District Governing Board heard from mothers on the subject of an agenda item, proposed by Board member Rebecca Hill, that instructed staff “to prepare the first draft of a facility use policy for PUSD student bathrooms and locker rooms.”
