Dust Collection Static Concept

I am building my AVID 5' by 10' CNC.
No sponsors, No plea for subs, just a guy doing his thing.

This unit arrived much sooner than expected which has forced me to start really dealing with the prep work.
I so far got the legs done, and realized, I better make sure the ceiling work is done before I build this.
There are 2 things I need to run over the unit, Electricity, and Dust Collection.
I ran the armored cable already for electricity over the top.

Static charge from dust friction with these tubes can be a problem for some electronics, and some extremely heavy manufacturing environments for fire hazard.

The amounts built shouldn't even be an issue most of the time, but this is an expensive machine, no foul for overkill.

I will say that when I unwrapped these tubes they already had built up a bit of charge, so they are plenty capable of holding one.

I have been through the internet and have seen lots of copper used by wrapping pipes, screws as lightning rods, and a host of other solutions, but none of them really seem to address the issue that both sides of the tube are very well insulated from each other, and have a very large surface area vs a Screw or wire.

The concept involves foil tape wrapped on both sides of each tube end to end. Copper wire connecting sections with the gasket, and just attaching to known grounded housing screws.
Probably overkill for the negligible amount of static built, but also pretty cheap and easy.
