Ukraine war: Russian missile strike kills at least six in Uman apartment attack

At least six are dead and 17 wounded in the city of Uman, after two cruise missiles hit a nine-storey residential building, according to Ukrainian national police.

They added that three children were pulled out of the rubble.

Resident Olha Turina told The Associated Press at the scene: "All the glass flew out, everything flew out, even the chandelier fell. Everything was covered in glass.

"Then there was an explosion...We barely found our things and ran out."

Ms Turina's husband is fighting on the front lines, and

said one of her child's classmates was missing.

"I don't know where they are, I don't know if they are alive," she said. "I don't know why we have to go through all this. We never bothered anyone."
