People demonstrate in Berlin against the conflict in Sudan

Dozens of activists and immigrants from Sudan gathered in Berlin to call for an end to the war in the African country.

The capital, Khartoum, and nearby towns have been gripped by nearly two weeks of intense bombardment amid fierce fighting between government forces and militants, causing severe food, water, medicine, and fuel shortages.
