Canada: Ambassador Bob Rae on Haiti, international aid budget, UN Security Council – April 28, 2023

Bob Rae, Canada’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, speaks with reporters in New York at the conclusion of a two-day official visit to that city by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Questions posed to the ambassador include inquiries about the repatriation of Canadians detained in Syria, Canadian funding for international development and for defence, and possible reforms to the United Nations Security Council.
