Twanisha Terry, also known as TT, has started her 2023 season strong, participating in two major races, including the Texas Relays 4x100 alongside former college teammate Sha'carri Richardson. At the Miramar Invitational in South Florida, Terry secured second place with an impressive time of 11 seconds. In 2022, she averaged 11-flat in the 100 meters and has potential to go sub-11 or 10.8 this year.

Terry's 2023 performances have been better in the US than overseas, with her fastest times achieved domestically. Highlights include her 10.82 time at the Bill Murphy Classic and 10.87 at the Toyota Championships. Her performance in Monaco, where she finished fifth with a time of 10.93, is an exception.

As Terry is just 23 years old, she has a promising future in the sport. However, her friendship with Sha'carri Richardson, who has faced controversy, could potentially be a concern. Despite this, Terry's consistent performance and potential to shave off two-tenths from her average time make her an exciting prospect for 2023.
