Mel Robbins is a motivational speaker, author, and life coach best known for her book "The 5 Second Rule." She is also a popular television host and commentator.
Robbins rose to prominence with her TEDx Talk in 2011, which has since been viewed over 20 million times. In the talk, she introduced the concept of the "5 Second Rule," which is a simple but powerful tool for overcoming procrastination, self-doubt, and other challenges. The rule involves counting down from 5 to 1 and taking action immediately, before the mind has a chance to sabotage itself with excuses.
