Day 2,111,281 of the Crisis of Identity – Chapter #195
In one part of Christianity, we choose tradition and sacraments. In the other we choose the experience and emotion! There are four distinct traditions of Christianity in the world today. Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestantism, and Evangelicalism. Three of these are based on the structure of the first order of Christianity tradition and sacraments. The last of these is a very modern form of Christianity based on a movement derived from emotion and experiencing God. My questions start with why are there four traditions? How can there be four different forms of Christianity when there is only one door? So, let’s begin with the foundational construct that has brought us to this point.
