Fairfield County Commissioners | Full Meeting | April 25, 2023

The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for April 25, 2023. This week's meeting had a Listen & Learn presentation from Commander Dennis Lowe of the South Central Ohio Major Crimes Unit in addition to the introduction of new Deputy Director of Finance, Curtis Witham, a series of resolutions of recognition for the month of May and County Administrative Updates.

During the public comments portion, Ray Stemen spoke of the drastic changes he has seen over the years in Fairfield County and the need to take time for prayer on a daily basis; citing the recently fired Fox News host Tucker Carlson in a speech Carlson gave before The Heritage Foundation. Then two pro-solar representatives, Yancy Shaw of the Laborers' District Council of Ohio and Andrew Murray of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 18 urged support for the Eastern Cottontail Project being developed by EDF Renewables, Geenex Solar and Blattner Company.
