Finishing porcelain proffesionally

Fine details need special attention to make a pottery piece successful. In this video I show a group of potters in Switzerland how I look at nature to form a good lip for pouring.

This porcelain bowl turned out to be a sculpted bowl, but I used the form to explain how to make a spout on a jug. I always teach with a broader picture in mind. The human brain can make the association. Just give them the info and they will process it themselves.
