City God Pavilion Hangzhou

City God Pavilion is a Taoist temple dedicated to the protector god of Hangzhou. It is located on Wu Hill near Hefang Street and overlooks West Lake. It is 41.7 meters tall and has seven floors. It is one of the most prominent structures in the city and offers a panoramic view of Hangzhou. It was built in the style of a Ming-era palace and restored in 1998-1999.
