n Daegu, South Korea, Muslim students have been using a house to pray for years. Now they are building a mosque, and in the process, battling local Islamophobia.
Construction of the mosque began in 2020, but has been interrupted by local government intervention, blockades, and police inaction.
Despite the legal finding justifying the mosque construction, harassment from Islamophobic groups continues, including placing pigs heads outside the mosque entrance.
