See The Result of This Incredible Food Plot Transformation!

This is the end result of a transformation from a spot on a hunting property that was terribly abused by loggers. After a two-week long operation, all of the thickets were mulched, the topsoil and wood that was pushed into piles was spread out and the whole thing was tilled in with lime and fertilizer according to soil test.
Then it was planted with a multi-species cover crop that will build soil and feed deer through the summer.
Summer food plots provide food and cover for deer and other critters as well as provide nectar for insects. They also pull nutrients from the soil and pump carbon back in, feeding soil microbes and creating humus.
When you improve soil health you make any plants you plant more nutrient dense which will attract more deer to your property.
