Nine days ago, surgeons removed my right kidney along with a baseball-sized cancerous mass.

Without a blood test, I never would have known about the mass on my kidney. I had zero discomfort and zero physical symptoms right up to the morning of my surgery on Jan 31, 2023. The blood test flagged a problem which caused my kidney specialist to recommend an MRI. And the MRI showed the baseball-sized tumor, clear as day.

Bottom line: Get your bloodwork done, and have the results interpreted by specialists in each area of concern. You never know what you might find. If you find problems soon enough, you could live longer and healthier.
