We cruise in our Ranger Tugs 29 to Butchart Gardens for 12 Days of Christmas, Orcas & More

We cruised from Everett, WA to Victoria, BC Sunday December. 11th to Thursday Dec. 15th 2022. Our goal was to visit Butchart Gardens, a delight in any season. Their Christmas display is famous and very much worth the trip. The Butchart Gardens dock is closed for December, which means you anchor in Tod Inlet (brrrrrr) or stay at a marina nearby. Victoria and Sydney are good choices. We were able to score a reservation in the heart of Victoria. The weather was mixed for our way home, but we encountered porpoises and orcas. Good times!

Apologies to Butchart Gardens for misspelling their name in a couple of places.

For every R-29CB detail we could think of, we recommend that you download the “The Unofficial R-29 User Guide” from the homepage of https://www.outwestrider.com. Always free and hopefully always improving. No forms to fill out, no mailing list to join. No data collected.
