The controversy continues with the divorce between Hiba Abouk and PSG star Achraf Hakimi.

The former Real Madrid footballer has been accused of sexually abusing a young girl in Paris, so the actress has decided to end her relationship with him.

However, in the divorce proceedings, Abouk found herself in for a surprise when she discovered that the Moroccan's entire fortune was in his mother's name, something that radically changed the terms of any possible divorce settlement.

Even so, her legal team is demanding 10 million euros, while he is offering her only two million.

La Vanguardia has reported that the actress has decided to file a lawsuit against her ex-husband for fraud and mismanagement of their marital assets.

For her part, the player's mother has spoken on the matter, albeit not making things any clearer.

"My son did not inform me of the transfer of his fortune. If he has taken any action to protect himself, I have no knowledge of it," Hakimi's mother stated.

"But... what is the problem if it were true? If my son doesn't do that, he won't be able to get rid of that woman."

What Hiba Abouk says about the case
The actor gave an interview to Elle magazine where she talked about her divorce and all the controversy surrounding it.

"There are days when I'm fine and others when you have to know how to deal with the blows and make decisions that are sometimes complicated," she confirmed.

"That can throw you off balance a bit. When you separate, you restructure your life, although it's no big deal either and you must take the pressure off.

"I left home with one hand in front and one hand behind. Without the support of my family. But I had to do it, because my environment was not going to allow me to grow or to be free.

"It was either my life or theirs, and I decided to fight for myself. I have zero attachment to material things.
