Doctor Prevented from Curing Covid 19 Patients

Why were doctors told not to prescribe Hydroxychloroquine to patients when it was proven to be an effective Covid-19 cure and costs less than $9? Some states made it illegal, restricted access, and even pulled medical licenses from doctors. Clearly, this was an act of government and big pharma greed and corruption.
