‘Bon Bon’ scored multiple knockdowns en route to the eventual victory and has now garnered multiple wins over two months. He praised Birbes as being a tough, game competitor who kept getting back up and called the French warrior a “a real fighter”.

The former BKB titleholder had his second BKFC fight overall and is now riding back-to-back wins. He has also fought under the BYB Extreme banner and this is his tenth bare-knuckle boxing bout overall.

Franco is back strong and healthy after recovering from injuries that have plagued him over the past ten years. He feels the best he’s ever had in his competitive combative efforts.

The UK standout is thriving in terms of feeling good in life overall and told #bareknucklenews he is getting married this year and doing what he loves while feeling fully optimized doing it.

Franco is eyeing becoming a two-organization titleholder as he has aims to become a BKFC champion as well. He fought here at 165 pounds but also mentioned a willingness to jump up to middleweight as well.

With this welterweight win here for Franco, he can very well find his place within that division’s hierarchy later this year. His past win over current number five ranked BKFC welterweight Connor Tierney who he stopped in less than a minute into round one shows what his ceiling could very well be in this weight category.

His next stop? USA as feels a lot of the UK fighters aren’t looking to sign up to fight him. When asked ‘who do you want to face?’, Franco named a notable former UFC veteran.

He stated, “Anyone. Any man who wants it. Anyone. I want to go over to the States and start making names out there. Diego Sanchez is my weight. I want. Listen, I’ll come to Diego’s back garden. I’ll clean his garden. I’ll fight him in his garden if he wants it. Well, anyone. Anyone who wants it in America, they can all get it.”
