Russian Defence Ministry shows S-300V crews of Central Military District on combat alert duty in special military operation

The S-300V surface-to-air missile systems (SAMs) of the Central Military District are on combat alert duty in the area of the special military operation to protect the Russian Group of Forces and populated areas from air strikes.

💥 The S-300V SAM system can detect and destroy ballistic and aerodynamic missiles, airplanes and helicopters, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles at different altitudes.

🎯 The range of engagement is over 200 km.

🔎 Aerial targets are detected and tracked by a radar that signals the target, calculates its location, altitude, and distance.
