In this first episode of Walking Tanach, we embark on a journey to explore the life of one of the most enigmatic figures in the Hebrew Bible. Through a mixture of archeology, geography, and storytelling, we visit the ancient sites where Samson grew up and became a legendary figure.

Our journey begins in the tribe of Dan, where we explore the area of Zorah and Eshtaol, where Samson was born and raised. We visit the altar where the angel appeared to his parents and the archeological site of ancient Zorah, where they lived. From there, we travel to Timnah, where Samson first became enmeshed with the Philistines. We look for insights into secret of this Biblical story in the realia of the places where it takes place such as the plants, animals, archeology and geography.
