Although, "Things I'd Like To Say," written by band members Les Kummel and Ronnie Rice, was the New Colony Six's only top 20 hit rising to the no. 16 position on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in 1968, they did chart 10 singles from 1966 though 1971 (Whitburn, 2013). The New Colony Six was a group based in Chicago, IL and is headed by lead singer Raymond Graffia, who is still touring in 2023 with new bandmates dressed in Revolutionary War or Civil War garb (newcolonysix, 2022).
