Sacks: I'm routinely accused of being pro-Putin because I don't want us to get into WWIII

.@DavidSacks: "I'm routinely accused of being pro-Putin because I don't want us to get into World War III over Ukraine, and I want us to pursue America's vital interest. I'm not pro-Russian. There's nothing about the Russian regime that I want to emulate.

This is precisely why I'm against censorship and concerned about the growing relationship between the security state and big tech because I want to protect our civil liberties and freedoms. So there's nothing that I like about Putin's regime.

I tend to think that this idea that the right somehow has sympathy for him is overblown. The point is that we believe that American foreign policy should be guided by what's in America's best interest, and that's a discussion we need to have, and that's just not the conversation we have on Ukraine."
