Lichenvale Gameplay | Indie Hack & Slash | Part 1

A new indie first-person hack & slash game that (I think) aims to be one of those hard games. That, or I think the game has some balancing problems (or I'm a complete noob). I'm talking about the fact that is so hard to counter ranged enemies projectiles (or, again, I'm too noob). Though even if the game feels hard, every time you die you spawn back in the same place with the enemies that were left when you died, but with a few points deducted from you (every time you kill enemies or pick some coins or crystals you get points). This is another mechanic that I'm confused on. Why would I care if I die or not because it seems that I have enough points to keep coming back to life 100+ times. I also wanted to see more character upgrades or more weapons in the game. I've been playing for almost an hour and I found only some max HP increase.
