Hailing from Indiana, and signed to Rockfest Records, @TheProtestRocks has to date released four incredible albums, filled with such hits as "Valor", "Welcome to the Freakshow", "Vicious Cycle", and "Noise Revolution"!

Brian has a blast talking with Josh about a wide array of topics, including how they've brought their own brand of hard rock to the Christian music scene, advice for new musicians, their funny skit videos, and living the "lavish rockstar" lifestyle!

Here are the lyrics to The Protest's song "Valor", featured in the outro of this video:

"You’ve got your sick little palace
On the pain of man you have built it
But brick by brick we will tear it down
You think our cause is now useless
But you’ve had your time and abused it
Change is coming can’t you hear the sound?

Despite the pain we’ll stay unbroken

All the oppression we will take it, take it in stride
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher tonight
Feel the power that is living, living inside
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher

Watch as we run with the giants
Tremble as we roar like the lions
On the wings of eagles we’re flying now
All the pain the you have exploited
Will be cast away by the voiceless
We’re rising death can’t take us down

Despite the pain we’ll stay unbroken

All the oppression we will take it, take it in stride
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher tonight
Feel the power that is living, living inside
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher

This is the time for life's revolution
Setting a course to reclaim the broken
There is still time left in this fight
Following hearts that lead like a compass
Fire will rise and we let it guide us

All the oppression we will take it, take it in stride
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher tonight
Feel the power that is living, living inside
Can’t keep us ground reaching higher and higher"
