JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean - Anime Review

Welcome to my review of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean! This part jumps ahead to the year 2011 as we change protagonists to the first female led JoJo, Jolyne Cujoh, Jotaro's daughter. I continue to be impressed with how each new JoJo's part does a great job at honoring the old characters while also introducing new likable characters and constantly changing the setting. Stone Ocean being 38 episodes with the first 24 taking place inside of a prison made for some really good edge of your seat viewing as Jolyne was always so close to escaping only to run into a new obstacle. Jolyne had such a great character arc from wanting nothing to do with her father, to risking everything to save him. I loved the "good grief" moments in particular. They didn't overdo it so each time Jolyne said it I was like, "YES! Jolyne said the thing!" lol Father Pucci was also a very compelling villain, having an interesting connection to Dio and tying everything from the previous story arcs together. If you can get few a bit of cringeworthy dialogue in the first couple of episodes, I honestly believe that this might be the most underrated part in the JoJo's series. Once again, David Production animated this series and it was originally released in 2021. Next week I am going to be ranking all six anime parts from my least favorite to most favorite. I don't dislike any of them if I'm being honest, but it was something I promised at the start of this review series, so I better keep it. Thanks for watching, let me know your thoughts in the comments down below, and have a great day!
