General Construction Term

stair landing or platform - A landing is the area of a floor near the top or bottom step of a stair. An intermediate landing is a small platform that is built as part of stairs between main floor levels and is typically used to allow the stairs to change directions, or to allow the user a rest.

lintel beam - a beam that is usually placed above windows and doors. The lintel's main job is to support the load from the structure above it.

formworks - is the structure, usually temporary, used to contain poured concrete and to mould it to the required dimensions and support until it is able to support itself.
