Ladies and gentlemen, this is the interview we've all been waiting for! We still can't believe we were able to secure this rare opportunity, but Brian was able to talk with elusive, iconic superstar DEREK!! The man is so famous, he needs no last name!

After Brian was able to compose himself after a severe case of being star struck, he spoke with Derek about a number of topics we know the world is waiting with bated breath to hear. This includes how he loves tormenting GFM's Maggie English, how he is able to maintain his dominance in all that he attempts, his plans to take on haters with his music, and of course his epic love story with his sweetheart, Susan! Derek was gracious enough to give us his time while attending the Kingdom Come Festival this year in Kokomo, IN, where he saw his favorite band, GFM, perform live! Biographical information on GFM from their website (https://www.thegfmband.com/about-gfm):

If you enjoy the melodic content of Paramore, and the character themes of Slipknot, then you have found the perfect matchup in GFM. The three sisters of GFM started taking music lessons around the age of five, and all three ended up falling in love with music. As they grew up, they decided that they wanted to pursue this love for music professionally and have been putting blood and sweat into creating a business and career out of GFM. The most important goal of GFM is to use their gifts to reach people for God and to always spread a positive message. The stage is their home, and they want to share their home with their fans.

GFM is not your average teenage girl band… they’re sisters for crying out loud. Their musical journey began in 2016 when they worked on their first album “Identity Crisis” with producers Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw (formerly of We as Human). In 2017, the girls went on their first U.S. tour, and the demand was so strong for GFM that they went out again the following year in 2018 on another U.S. tour, finishing out the touring season with their first trip to Germany for a festival. GFM was met with thousands of loving fans and instantly became a festival favorite. In 2019, GFM released their much-anticipated EP “Oh, The Horror!” after working with Eric Varnell and Billy Decker (Uncle Kracker, Sam Hunt).
