Dhikr Sirri is considered the most important and commendable dhikr because it is done sincerely and selflessly. This dhikr is also considered as a means of achieving closeness to Allah and gaining awareness of His presence that is always around us.

However, it should be noted that Dhikr Sirri is not the same as dhikr which is done in secret with the intention of hiding sins or bad deeds committed. Dhikr Sirri is done solely to remember Allah and strengthen the spiritual bond between the servant and the Creator.
