Citizens of Navarre (Spain) moved from caves to houses in the 1960s, suddenly got colds/flu 🤔

Flu-like illnesses are likely multi-factorial, i.e. they have multiple causes. The most likely causes are the following:

1. Dry indoor air, i.e. relative humidity below 40%. Dry air causes the mucus in the airways to become thicker, thereby inhibiting mucociliary clearance, which is a crucial part of the immune system.

In this video, the host called Rubén Mendi says the caves have the same temperature all year round. If you used large amounts of heat to keep the 'normal' houses at the same temperature, you would likely find that their inhabitants still got flu-like illnesses. Temperature may play a role, especially sudden decreases in outside temperature, but is likely not the major factor.

2. Lack of micronutrients, especially low vitamin D blood levels, which the body can't make during winter due to lack of UV-radiation from the sun. Other diseases which used to be thought of as infectious, such as scurvy, pellagra and beriberi later turned out to be nutrient deficiencies (of vitamin C and B vitamins respectively).

3. Possibly the presence of toxins such as mycotoxins caused by mold, which occurs in badly insulated damp areas. See Moldy documentary by Dave Asprey:

Adequate ventilation helps to keep mycotoxins in the air low, but it is better to also solve the root cause by improving moisture control and isolation. Although mold causes disease, it's more likely to be the whole year round, not just during flu season.

The above-mentioned factors are consistent with the fact that there tends to be no flu-like illnesses in summer and the most flu-like illnesses at the end of winter.

The pseudo-scientists who call themselves virologists tend to ignore all these crucial factors and lay all the blame on viruses, which lack all minimal scientific proof despite 5 decades and billions of dollars of 'research', and the allocation of the smartest researchers and cutting edge technology.

If the flu were mostly/only caused by a virus, the story in this video wouldn't happen, because there would be as many viruses in the caves as in the regular houses.

Virologists have been unable and/or unwilling to provide the following MANDATORY scientific proof for 5 decades:

- True isolation, i.e. a vial with nothing else but salt water and specific virus particles. This has never been achieved for any virus, ever, but it has been achieved for bacteriophages which have the same size as viruses. Bacteriophages are said to be viruses, but are more likely small bacteria.

- Proof of transmission. The experiment by Rosenau et al. which was performed during the Spanish 'flu' of 1918 was perfectly designed to show that the disease was infectious, but failed miserably to show any infectious nature.

- Koch's postulates which, when met, prove definitively that a specific pathogen causes a specific disease

- Exclusion of other causal factors, such as lack of micronutrients, environmental causes, presence of toxins.
