What Helps Ensure Lasting Change?

Wisdom starts with fearing the Lord.

This is an awesome, reverential fear. It's not being scared of him as if he's out to get you or punish you. He loves you.

This fear is about living your life in awe and wonder of how the Creator of all the universe cares for you. This means giving him the honor and respect he is due. This means knowing how mighty and powerful he is and not taking anything for granted.

This means not abusing his grace and mercy toward us that we neither earned nor deserve.

To live well, to make change, to truly be blessed: Fear God.
