Today we are finally going to get a look at one of the more frequently commented about watches. The Glycine Combat Sub. Which is a hell of a bargain considering it's a high beat Swiss Made diver that can usually be found around $350.

Equally amazing is how thin this thing is, at 10.6mm. That's quartz territory, and here we are talking about a Swiss Made Auto with 200m of water resistance. For affordable watch fans, it's definitely one to check out.

A quick word about Drop.com. If you haven't heard of them before they are sort of a group buying site. Not exactly, but the easiest way to describe it. They have all sorts of things listed, including watches. Basically from my understanding, they pre-negotiate with a company to get a specific price on something. Then they offer it on their site and see how many are interested before they place the actual order.

They usually have great prices on things, but not always, so it's always good to do a little bit of research. In fact, on each listing (called "drops") there is a discussion tab, and usually, people in there have already checked some of the usual stores like Jomashop.

One downside to Drop is that they are a considered grey market like jomashop. So manufactures warranties are not always honored. Plus I've heard some international buyers are annoyed with how they ship things. Sometimes listing the value as the MSRP not what they paid. So having to pay more importation fees.

They are worth checking out, but you do have to sign up for an account first. The link below is a referral link, that gives me a small credit the first time anyone buys anything. Which is how I got the credit I talked about in the video. If you aren't comfortable with that, but still curious. Just go to the site directly.

Note: Some of the links above are affiliate links, I am an Amazon, AVI-8, Armilla, Aliexpress, Spinnaker, eBay, Jomashop, and Phoibos affiliate so I would earn a small commission on qualified purchases. But most of the time Amazon is just the best source to link something just to get a look. I always encourage you to shop around and find the best price.
