Biden launches Office of Environmental Justice, directs eco-friendly policies across federal depts.

President Joe Biden signed an executive order Friday expanding “environmental justice” initiatives within the government. The Revitalizing Our Nation’s Commitment to Environmental Justice For All executive order will require all federal government departments to incorporate environmental policies into their mission. Biden’s order also establishes the White House Office of Environmental Justice, which will coordinate these efforts to fight climate change.
