Ouchi gari is perhaps one of the most versatile Judo techniques there is but how can you catch your opponent off-guard so that you can land that beautiful Osoto? Using Ouchi is a great setup for it because it tends to get the opponent to step back or at least shift focus to the leg you're not trying to attack with osoto, leaving them pretty vulnerable.
