It’s almost time to grab your yellow bags and fill them up with food items for the Lethbridge and Interfaith Food Banks.

Target Hunger is a city-wide food initiative that will take place on June 10. It is designed to help try to eradicate hunger in our city.

Mac Nichol, the executive director of the Lethbridge Food Bank told us the event raised 47,000 pounds of food in 2022, and this year they are hoping to bring up that total to 50,000. Nichol explains what you can put into your yellow bag.

Nichol says volunteers are needed for the event and the official sign up starts on May 1st.
