For five days, Rapid Support Forces and government troops have been fighting (https://t.me/rybar/45979) for power in Sudan. Due to heavy fighting for airbases and constant air defense operations, Germany, China, and Japan are unable to evacuate their citizens.

In Khartoum, clashes damaged fuel depots near the city's airport, causing major fires. It is reported that a large military reinforcement has approached the capital.

As of now, fierce fighting continues for the army's headquarters complex, while government troops have announced the capture of Nyala, the capital of South Darfur state.

Rapid Support Forces shelled the city of Al-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur state with mortars, and according to preliminary reports, several civilians were injured.

According to the Sudanese Doctors Union, 39 out of 59 medical facilities in Khartoum and neighboring states have stopped working due to shelling. At the same time, the UN reported 270 deaths and over 2,600 injuries.

The UN Security Council called for a 24-hour ceasefire starting from 6:00 p.m. local time. However, all previous attempts to introduce a ceasefire have failed.
