Environmental and Public Health Attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. nephew of former President John F. Kennedy and a son of former Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy announced his candidacy in the 2024 Presidential campaign running as a Democrat.
The 2 hour speech took place in his home city of Boston, Mass. on Wed. April 19th, 2023 and he was introduced by former Ohio Congressman and 2008 Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich.
Topics include his primary agenda, with the help of supporters, would be ending the "corrupt merger of state and corporate power." He discussed his family legacy and history, his environmental justice work including saving the commons and forming a nonprofit water watch organization. He holds both Trump and Biden responsible for the failed lockdown policies during the pandemic that included a massive upward transfer of wealth (the largest in history) which also resulted in 16% of the world's covid deaths and negatively impacted children, the poor, what's left of the middle class, and small businesses across the country.
This video also features an intro by comedian Jimmy Dore who already found some interesting early statistical data showing strong approval of Kennedy amongst Democrat voters even before his official announcement.
