Early Morning Mayhem and Plenty of FIREWORKS When Vivek Ramaswamy Appears on CNN with Don Lemon

While debating post-Civil War history, Don Lemon from CNN preposterously claimed that “black people still aren’t allowed to enjoy their freedoms.” That’s an insult to the progress we’ve made over the last 160 years. His comments embody what’s wrong with the dialogue about race in America. I told him so without apology. Adding insult to injury, he added “When you have black skin and you live in this country, then you can disagree with me.” We should be able to have open debate no matter our skin color. It’s time to start talking openly again. All of us.
