Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu inspects the fulfilment of state defence order in Kaluga region

Russian Minister of Defence General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has inspected the fulfilment of the state defence order at the defence industry enterprises in Kaluga region.

◽️ The Russian Defence Minister inspected the production facility which produces electronic warfare (EW) equipment to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces. The Russian Defence Minister also saw the promising examples of EW equipment.

◽️ The company's head reported to Sergei Shoigu on the results of fulfilling the state defence order, as well as about ongoing projects to further expand the production capacity.

◽️ According to the company's report, currently, production output has increased significantly across the entire product range, including space-based and airborne assets, due to the modernisation of production lines, increased labour productivity, and introduction of new technologies.

◽️ With new contracts with the military, the total volume of electronic warfare equipment will increase in the near future.

◽️ Following the results, Sergei Shoigu held a working meeting with the company's leadership and representatives of the relevant military command and control bodies, during which he set the tasks to ensure further increase in the production of electronic warfare equipment, which had proved to be effective during the special military operation.- Russia ministry of defence
