New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd T201. Captain Tom Latham led the batting with a 64-run knock and took New Zealand to a total of 163 runs. New Zealand was on fire during the second innings as they kept on taking Pakistan's wickets. However, Iftikhar Ahmed came and played a blistering knock in the final overs but it was not enough as New Zealand sealed the match by 4 runs.
